New York Fashion Week is slowly drawing to a close, but the street style will live on in millions of pins, blogs, and photo boards. While often times a little zany and editorial for us “normal folk” to pull off in our everyday lives, I think street style provides us with a great platform from which we can reinterpret fashion to best suit our own personal style and budgets.
One of my favorite street style snaps from this past week is actually relatively simple, but incorporates many of my favorite trends for this coming fall season: sweatshirts, printed skirts, structured satchels, and bright red lips. Now, this is a look I am 110% on board with!

So what street style looks have inspired you this season?

If you’ve been following this blog, you know I am a big advocate of multitasking products. That, combined with my Type A uber-organized tendencies have led me to my new love: leather pouches. I use them for holding makeup, for coupons, for pens/stationary, for jewelry and best of all, I also use them on occasion as a clutch for a night out. Switching handbags is less of a pain during the week because all I need to do is grab the required pouch(es) from bag #1 and insert into bag #2. Finding things (keys, toys, snacks, lip balm, etc.) in the dark depths of my handbags is also much speedier. Brilliant, right?
