It’s amazing how powerful your scent of smell can be. Just a whiff of a familiar scent can evoke the strongest of responses in people. During the holidays and winter months, I store away my lighter florals and fruity inspired candles and instead, like to surround myself in scents more organic to the time of year: musks, woods, pines, and even smoke. They just seem right to me.
Here are some of my favorites:
1) Diptyque Pine candle / 2) Eclectic by Tom Dixon ‘Orientalist’ scented candle / 3) Kate Spade ‘Leave Something to the Imagination’ scented candle / 4) Candela Wild Juniper soy candle / 5) Jo Malone Dark Amber & Ginger Lily Candle / 6) Diptyque Eucalyptus candle / 7) Aquiesse Red Currant candle / 8) Le Labo ‘Santal 26’ scented candle
Aside from the assorted scents of the season, a little candle light can work magic when it comes to setting a mood, or making one look, ahem, a “few” years younger. Just sayin’.
